Scholarships

The Virginia Tech Alumni Association – Roanoke Chapter awards scholarships to high school students entering Virginia Tech. Each year we accept applications and pour over essays from accepted students in Roanoke city, Roanoke County, Salem, and Botetourt County.

 

Most of the scholarships awarded have come from event proceeds, scholarship fundraisers, corporate and individual donations. THANK YOU for all you do! Your efforts truly are making a difference!

We value corporate and individual donations of all sizes as it goes toward supporting students who want to change their lives! Below are two way you can give to our scholarship fund:

Online Donation Instructions

 

To make a tax-deductible donation directly to our scholarship fund, please visit the Virginia Tech's Online Giving Page.

​

 IMPORTANT:  

1. Under the “My Gift Details” section, please select the ‘Select an area’ dropdown menu, choose Alumni Association.

2. On the "Select a fund" dropdown menu that  appears, choose Other.

3. Finally, on the "Enter Designation" field, type Roanoke Valley Chapter.
